Globier, utilisé par les horlogers, les dentellières et les fileuses. Les globes en verre remplis d’eau sont placés autour d’une lampe à pétrole pour augmenter l’intensité lumineuse et concentrer la lumière sur le travail et les mains des artisans, permettant notamment de travailler très tard le soir. J’avais à coeur durant la résidence d’explorer les entrelacements entre rythmes organiques d’instants dans un espace naturel, entrelacés aux rythmes mécaniques et mathématiques de la mesure du temps. Aussi, à superposer et croiser deux dimensions : la structure de la réalité et sa grammaire telle que décrite objectivement par la science faite d’unités, de champs, d’échelles, de flous, de répétitions, d’énergie notamment et, la grammaire de la composition picturale, de la couleur entre lumière et matière. C’était une résidence à la recherche des échos du travail à la fenêtre des paysans ou ouvriers qui fabriquaient la petite machine pour mesurer le temps, de leur environnement et outils de travail. J’ai aussi récolté et capturé les rythmes lumineux, colorés des paysages et éléments naturels des vallées du Doubs et du Dessoubre, enneigées puis printanières et me suis nourrie de lectures scientifiques sur la structure temporelle du monde. C'est la représentation d’une analogie entre un meuble en bois coloré et les volets de fenêtres, comme un objet en modulation. Les dimensions sont à l’échelle d’un buffet et chaque feuillet est comme la possible porte entr'ouverte d’un cabinet. Cette pièce est née de l’envie de développer hors du cadre une partie d’une petite peinture de 2020 : Vortex Zone (le monde est un oignon), jouant ainsi entre deux échelles différentes et deux modes de représentation de l’espace. En utilisant un matériau élémentaire du quotidien, le papier, l’idée est de former une représentation poétique d’objets par une composition modulaire.C’est également une recherche sur la couleur et sur la saturation, inspirée par les nuances du bois et une retranscription de l’ambiance chromatique des couches de couleur appliquées sur les différents parties d’une fenêtre sur une façade. L’acrylique, suivant sa qualité, mate ou brillante et la quantité de couches de peinture déposées, peut ressembler à une autre matière : une toile cirée, un vernis. Le pliage offre un déploiement différents des couleurs suivant l’endroit d'où nous regardons la pièce. Dans Les volets du buffets se joue aussi un rapport à la construction et au calage d’une image, selon une abscisse et une ordonnée. C’est une pièce qui peut être aisément transportée, montée et démontée, répondant à certaines conditions de mobilité et de stockage. La nature de la composition permet l’erreur de montage, le jeu, le réagencement et l’ajustement. <img width="600" height="879" width_o="600" height_o="879" practice between fixing and moving forms. This has allowed me to act by folding, cutting, hanging, in effective interventions on a short time scale. This practice was mostly inspired by the vast creativity of paper decoration in public display during the Chinese New Year.Shortly after I became passionate about the writings of Jacques Soulillou, Le décoratif &nbsp;[The Decorative], 1990 and Le livre de l’ornement et de la guerre [The Book of the Ornament and the War], 2003,&nbsp; a sociological and anthropological study on the relationship between ornaments, decorative items and war. The decor has to do with law and power, with the outpouring, the non-restrictive, the multiplicity, the threat of invasion. The contempt of the decorative is linked to disdain of women’s work and non-european art. It is a ground for establishing social legitimacy, the decor is where any power look for their sense of affirmation. In the old library collection of isdaT, my research led me to Le Japon illustré [The Japan Illustrated] by Félicien Challaye and published in 1915. I use the photograph of a child holding a basket of cakes tucked with the Rising Sun Flag.
